- 12mm wrench/deep well socket
- 3mm Allen wrench (provided)
Step-by-Step Assembly
Step 1: Remove Center Shelf
Remove the center shelf using four button head screws (two per side) with the provided 3mm Allen wrench.
Pro Tip: Shelf removal and installations are easiest when the shuttle is lying on its side.
Step 2: Set Shelf Height
Set shelf height using the locking ball stud on the front:
- Bottom position: Fits 9" and smaller screens
- Middle position: Accommodates ALL 10" models from major brands (Garmin, Humminbird, Lowrance)
- Top position: Suits Garmin 12" models (8612, 1243, 126 UHD)
Align screws with your chosen ball stud location.
Step 3: Remove Internal Computer/Battery Tray
Remove the internal computer/battery tray by extracting two button head screws on the shuttle's back using the 3mm Allen wrench. This tray can be removed with components attached.
Step 4: Install Battery Straps
Install velcro battery straps into slots matching your battery size. Alternatively, use sticky-back velcro for custom battery positioning.
Step 5: Install Computer
Install the computer using provided 1.25" Phillips head stainless bolts and nylock nuts.
Important: Bolts must pass from the back of the computer tray toward the front.
Step 6: Reinstall Computer/Battery Tray
Reinstall the computer/battery tray, reversing the process from Step 3.
Step 7: Install Gimbal Bracket
Install the Gimbal bracket on the center shelf using provided 3/4" bolts and nylock nuts.
Pro Tip: By reversing your gimbal bracket, you can gain additional room in front of your screen.
Step 8: Reinstall Shelf
Reinstall the shelf, reversing Step 1 instructions.
⚠️ Do NOT overtighten the screws, as this can damage your carbon fiber wrap.
Step 9: Cable Management
Follow wiring instructions and manufacturer guidelines for all cable plugs. Store excess transducer cord inside the box behind the screen.
Step 10: Go Fishing!
Your v2024 Aluminum Shuttle is ready for the ice. Protect your investment and catch more fish.
